UNIOSUN STUDENT TO RECEIVE DAVID SERIKI TOMORI-FAPOHUNDA(DSTF) FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

EEE20090045A 300 Level student of the Department of Electrical Engineering, OLAFISOYE, Micheal Olumide (EEE/09/0045) has been awarded an annual scholarship worth One Hundred Thousand Naira only (N100,000) by David Seriki Tomori-Fapohunda(DSTF) Foundation.

According to the Secretary, Board of Trustees for DSTF Foundation in an email sent to the Vice-Chancellor, the major aim of the Foundation is to provide support to brilliant and intelligent students especially those who do not have the adequate means to explore and actualize their talents and skills.

The schorlarship will be on an annual basis commencing from the year 2012/2013 session and will be awarded to another deserving student on Olafisoye's completion of his undergraduate programme.

Acknowledging the kind gesture, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor 'Sola Akinrinade thanked DSTF Foundation for the award and noted that it would encourage the young man to keep putting in his best while also challenging his colleagues that hard work has its rewards.

The official presentation of the scholarship award will come up on Saturday, 29th June 2012 at a Press Conference where the Parents/Guardian of the student as well as the University will be represented.
