This announcement is detailed in a release issued by the University's Public Relations Officer, Ademola Adesoji, on Tuesday, 2nd April, 2024.

Adesoji disclosed that Mr. Adam's appointment was approved by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council, Professor 'Wale Oladipo on behalf of the apex decision making body of the University.

"The public and University community would recall that the University had earlier advertised the positions of the Registrar, Bursar and Librarian on Monday, 27th November, 2023, however, the tenure of Mr. Bolarinwa Feruke expired before the completion of the selection process, which necessitated the appointment of an Acting Bursar to prevent a lacuna.

"The new Acting Bursar, grew through the ranks and became Deputy Bursar on Oct 1, 2022. He would assume duty on Wednesday, 3rd April, and would serve in the capacity as Acting Bursar pending the completion of the selection process for the 3rd substantive Bursar of the University," Adesoji added.
