Biosketch:

Dr. Olakunle OLUKAYODE is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Osun State University. He has BSc, MSc and Ph.D. degrees all in Mechanical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. His area of research focus is in machine design, robotics, and renewable energy (specialization in Sea Wave Energy harnessing). He had published more than 20 scientific papers in reputable nationally and internationally recognised academic journals in his fields of focus. He also holds a Federal Republic of Nigeria issued Patent for the Design of a Screw Actuated Folding Crane. He is currently engaged in development of machines relevant to boosting local agricultural and fabrication orientated productive activities, robotic devices based on novel ideas, as well as investigating how low amplitude sea waves energy of tropical regions can be more efficiently harnessed. He is also a co-recipients of several national research awards/grants.
