He graduated as a student of Accounting from University of Lagos, Akoka in the year 1987 with BSc. (Hons) Accounting Second Class Upper Division. He holds a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from University of Calabar in the year 1996. He also holds the following professional qualifications with dates. Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ACA 1997) Associate member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI 2001).

He joined the service of Industrial Training Fund (a Manpower Development Organization) in 1981 where he has served in various capacities and rose to the position of Chief Accountant (Budget & Investment) before his final exit in 2008. In August 2009, he joined the services of OSUN STATE UNIVERSITY as Lecturer II in the Department of Accounting, Banking and Finance. He has undergone series of seminars.

He is married to Deaconess Ruth Omolola Oyewole and blessed with four children.
