Biosketch:

Olayiwola M. O.  is a Professor of Mathematics  at Osun State University. His areas of research include but not limited to Computational Mathematics, Modeling and Simulation, Mathematical Epidemiology, Nonlinear Dynamical Systems, Fractional-Order Differential Equations and Chaos.  He has supervised many students at undergraduate level in different areas of Mathematics and Computer Science. He has also supervised more than ten  M.Sc/Ph.D students in different areas of Mathematical Sciences. Prof. M. O. Olayiwola has attended  more than forty conferences both locally and internationally. He has more than eighty academic publications to his credit in reputable and high impact journals. He is a reviewer to some local and international journals and also serves as external examiner to some universities.

He was the Acting Director, Information Management and Technology Centre (2013-2015); Acting Head of Department of Mathematical and Physical Sciences between 2015-2018; and Acting Head of Mathematical Sciences between 2018-2020. He was also the Director of Research and Innovation Management, Office of the Vice-Chancellor between 2020 and 2022. Currently, he is the  Dean, Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences.
