GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS
1. Only manuscripts that have not been previously submitted or have not been accepted for publication or published in other journals are accepted.
2. Manuscripts must be in British English language in 12 font size, Times New Roman, typed in Microsoft Word in 1.5 line spacing and 10 font size for footnotes in single line spacing automatically generated.
3. Submission must include an abstract of 250 words and 5 to 6 keywords.
4. Articles should be between 10,000 to 12,000 words including footnotes. Case Law/Statute Reviews and Book Reviews should be between 3,000-4000 words and 1,500-2,000 words respectively.
5. Contributors are to strictly abide by the NALT Manual on Legal Research Basic Guide for
Law Faculties and Legal Research Institutions in Nigeria, 2021 (NALT’s Blue Book Basic Guide).
6. Body of the manuscript should have not more than six (6) main sections, starting with an ‘Introduction’ and ending with a ‘Conclusion’.
7. Author(s)’ details such as names, email address, academic qualifications and institutional affiliations should be indicated at the footnote in the first page of the article after an asterisk before any referencing numbering.
8. Submissions will undergo double blind peer review and plagiarism check.
9. Authors should ensure that the materials submitted do not infringe copyright, are not obscene or defamatory in nature.
10. Submissions should be sent to and copy to not later than 30th June 2022.
