Biosketch:

Professor Olaide Abass Gbadamosi is lawyer, academician, Arbitrator, chartered marketer and chartered Purchasing and Supply practitioner. He attended University of Benin, Nigeria, Igbinedion University and Nigerian Law School respectively.
He started his academic career as a Lecturer II in Benson Idahosa University, Benin city in 2005 and joined the services of Osun State University as a Senior Lecturer and pioneer Ag. Head, Department of Public and International Law in 2010, a position he held until he became the Ag. Provost/Dean of the College of Law from 2015 to 2019.
He is a Professor and member of Senate, Osun State University. He has served as Chairman and member of several committees in Osun State University including Chairman, Chairman, Committee of Provosts, Deans and Directors, Osun State University for from 2017 -2019 and Chairman, University Central Admissions Committee for 2017-2020. In recognition of outstanding community services to the Ifetedo Host Community of our College of Law conferred on him the Chieftaincy title of ‘Baamofin of Ifetedo’ on 3rd August 2017.

Research Interests and Achievements
His research interests are Migration Law and Reproductive Rights.

Contributions to knowledge

He has over 46 scholastic publications across all continents of the world. He has attended various local and international conferences and workshops
He has successfully supervised several undergraduate LL.B projects and a total of 28 postgraduate students including Ph.D, M.Phil and LL.M students.
