Biosketch:
Dr Sikiru Adeyemi OGUNDOKUN is a Faculty member at the Department of French, Ikire Campus, Osun State University, Osogbo, Nigeria. He equally holds a professional postgraduate Diploma in Journalism. He has published several academic articles in reputable books and learned journals both locally and internationally. He is a member of some professional associations (check below):
Research Interests, Achievements / Specialization:
Ogundokun’s areas of research interest include Francophone African literature, cultural and gender studies as well as literary theories and criticism. He has co-authored a book on Francophone African Literature titled: La littérature africaine francophone origine et évolution Vol. I, Ibadan: University Press Plc.
Contributions to knowledge
Through his publications, he has contributed to the debates on the understanding of African literature, particularly in the areas of revolutionary consciousness, cultural studies, gender studies, myths as well as the socio-political and religious dimensions of African literary works.
