Biosketch:
Funmilayo Mary OLOYEDE is a Plant Physiologist and Horticulturist at Osun State University who specializes on the agronomy and analyses of chemical compositions (nutrients and bioactive compounds) of the horticultural crops especially the indigenous and the underutilized species of the southwestern Nigeria. She is a sound academic and researcher, who has won several honours, awards and distinctions from highly reputable grantees such as the Carnegie Corporation New York, Netherlands Fellowship Program (NFP) Award, African-German Network of Excellence in Science Grant for Junior Scientists (AGNES), FAO UN Science Forum (Early Career Scientist) Grant, and the Humboldt Foundation conference grant. She has published over 30 articles in reputable journals and presented a number of papers in international and local conferences in her area of specialisation. She serves as a reviewer for a number of journals.
